Several post-conference activities have been planned.
The primary post-conference field trip will be a two-day Mammoth Cave field trip. This field trip will be led by Dr. Chris Groves and Mammoth Cave Park Hydrologist Joe Meiman. For participants wishing to visit other renowned karst areas of the United States, three additional trips have been planned. These include trips to the West-Central Florida Karst, Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee-Alabama-Georgia Karstlands, and the Guadalupe Mountains of New Mexico. The field trips range from two to four days. Specific information for each of the trips can be found below (or contact the trip organizer). Note that participants will be responsible for arranging their own transportation to the "start point" of the both the West-Central Florida and Guadalupe Mountains trips. Also, the Mammoth Cave and West-Central Florida Karst field trips include accomodations with the registration price; the Guadalupe Mountains and Cumberland Escarpment trips do not include accomodations. Read the individual trip descriptions for details.
